Sailed Away Into…

October 3, 2012

Exalted friend,

A chunk of time has crumbled, it has been swept up and sprinkled into the nearest water source and drank by a deer downstream, and on and on.  We are conscious and taking second place to our tumescence again.  Bend those spines and display your stingers, we’re a far yet romantic squawk away from the next part of Martyrs of Revelation.

Faster than a Mountain

September 12, 2010

Slow is relative, so over the past 6 months Visions Found can better be compared to Bradypus variegatus.  After leaving home and jobs in Montreal progress and production have been crawling along in the attempt to build better lives for the company and its members.   Metamorphosis can be tricky though, and believe we always have something up are marsupium.  New artists, species, locations and wings are all set to unfold in the Winter of 2011. Please remain collected, gather accordingly, and never forget about us.

PS-  Thank you to Mylene, Ele, and Phil, you made us leave Montreal incredibly hard…you made Montreal incredibly hard to leave, and we love you.

Cymothoa exigua

June 17, 2010

The Spotted Rose Snapper Fish, which lives off the coast of California, is plagued by what must be one of the most sensational parasites in all of nature. The crustacean parasite, called Cymothoa exigua, enters the fish’s mouth and leeches blood from the fish’s tongue until the muscle atrophies and dies. The parasite then attaches itself to the withered tongue-stump, and acts as a working replacement for the organ, spending the rest of its life living off bits of food that enter the fish’s mouth.  The Cymothoa exigua is the only parasite known to effectively replace a body organ.

Congratulations Marl Pignac, we all love the new tongue and wish you and Samantha the very best.
